The Wilson Brothers
(As told by mom and pop Wilson)

It all started 1942. That was the year our first child, Jackie was born.
Jackie was a scrappy little hard headed boy.
He would drive us crazy with all a his damn runnin and jiving
but man the boy could sing and dance. He wasn't half bad lookin either.

Then of course, Dooley was born.
When he was only  six months old, the boy would pull his-self up
to the family piano and start playin songs on the damn thing.

Then there was Flip.
Now flip was a funny mo fo right from the  beginning.
Boy make you laugh just by lookin at you.
He had talent like no one else cuz he make his other brothers
laugh til they stain they britches.

Then along came Pickett.
The boy insisted on putting a comma after his first name.
Lord knows he drove his father and mother insane with that damn comma.
Still uses the damn thing. Boy could sing and write some good songs though.
He would take his other brothers down the basement and get em
all worked up in a song then whack em in the ass cuz they didn’t do it right.
He was always a little high strung if y’all know what we mean.

Then there was Justin or as we like to call him, Jus-Tan.
Well you can imagine our surprise when Justin was born.
The boy, well he just didn’t look like the other boys if you know what I mean.
But we loved him just the same and treated him like the rest of the gang.
Our little Justin showed early talent for choking small poultry, like hens and roosters.
We thought it was going to be a problem until we found him in the kitchen cutting the damn birds head off.
Well he rattled a few pots and pans and man that boy could cook!
A little later, the boy started showin some talent for telling jokes.
Lord knows how he found the time to play the damn guitar.
